Overview
Webbed is a 2D action game developed by Sbug Games. The main character is a small spider, which is easy to imagine as a cute fly spider. Her beautiful spider boyfriend has been kidnapped by a nasty bird, so she sets out on an adventurous journey to save her beloved boyfriend.
The other characters and the warm and gentle worldview that is heartwarming from beginning to end is very appealing. Basically, there are no “deaths” for the enemies, the main character, or any other character. If the protagonist is crushed by a trap, touches a thorn, or falls into a hole, he will have to start over, but even so, he does not die clearly. Of course, you can’t kill enemies either. The only enemy that will attack you is the last bird. You can eat flies, but they are not your enemies, and even if you eat them, the Lord of Flies will revive you later. Such is the gentle worldview of the game.
Who decided that “fighting” and “killing” is the norm for action games? That’s what the creators seem to have in mind. GREAT!
Even so, it is a very complete action game, light and pleasant to play (although some parts require more difficult actions). Not only can you move around by attaching and pulling strings together, but you can also create nests of any shape and move around on them, and the many flexible puzzle gimmicks that use them are excellent. It’s a triumph of ideas.
If you select “Spider Syndrome Countermeasure Mode” from the options, the main character will turn into something cute and fuzzy. When he moves, he rolls around.
Let’s rescue our beloved spider!
At first, there is a tutorial to explain the controls.
After the spider you fell in love with is kidnapped by a bird, a moth will lend you a helping hand. In order to chase the bird, you need to accomplish three things: ask for help from ants, find fuel, and make your guide your friend.
The Lord of the Flies is just below you. He will tell you to come back if you eat too many flies, but you don’t need to talk to him until you have eaten all the flies. Eating flies does not make the main character gain weight or move slower, and if you talk to him halfway through the game, up to five flies will resurface in this area at a time, making it troublesome to collect them (if they resurface, they will be treated as uncollected flies in this area).
In the lower right corner of the area, there is a little spider looking for its young.
There are three baby spiders in the upper right corner of the area.
Let’s ask the ants for help!
Let’s go down from the center of the tree area. They have been attacked by fire ants and are currently recovering, so help them out.
Go downstairs and to the left to find ants repairing the elevator. Use the gear to fix the elevator.
Go to the upper left corner and you will find a gear. It is filled with thorns and a mysterious liquid (if you touch it, you’ll have to start over), so it’s safer to connect the thread and go slowly than to pull it in and go at once.
Shoot the gears with the thread or move them with the thread attached and bring them to the ants that are repairing the elevator. Incidentally, there are two ant larvae in the area. For the hidden passages, destroy the walls with your shots.
After handing the cog over, go to the right side and the cog you just saw will appear there. After putting the gear into the device near the center, press the switch on the right to make the elevator work.
The larvae are on the right side of the path.
If you go left, you will see a hidden passage above. Enter the door at the end of the passage and go to the top to find a larva (SS is after you have already taken it). Go back from the right. By the way, if you go to the lower door, you will come to the place where the ants were repairing the elevator earlier.
When you return, go left and go down to find Karl.
There are four things that need to be done.
“Take the jaw part to the ironworks for processing.”
“Reconnect the fuel line.
“Reconnect the water pipe.
“Attach the Mecha-Ant legs.
Go to the right and go towards the pump power station. Then ants will fall down from above, so pull them up with a string to save them.
There are many ways to do this, but the easiest is to first connect the bottom rock to the left wall with thread. Next, attach the thread to the upper left corner of the ceiling. Then just bring the cursor around the left wall, stretch the thread, and pull the ants to climb up there.
The larvae are in the upper right corner. You can’t stretch the thread where the mud is flowing, so you need to control it somewhat severely. Stretch the thread on the vine, fly to the right with the recoil, and stretch the thread around the side of the floor where the larvae are.
Go to the left and connect the gear to the switch with the thread. The switch will automatically switch as the gear rotates, so proceed to the upper right.
A hidden passage just above. There are larvae.
Go ahead and connect the tip of the switch to the moving scaffold just above it with thread. There are two switches, so connect them both in the same way.
Take the gears and drop down and climb up the string you just made. There is a device on the ceiling where you can put the gears. Connect the device to the gears with the string over and over again to place the gears. The trick is to connect the cogwheel to the one you want to install with the cogwheel you brought in, alternating between left, right, left, and right. The switch below should also be connected to the ground with a piece of string, so that it is pressed.
Go back to the area on the left, go down and enter the door.
Keep the switch pushed with the string and go on. You can put a tree on it, but it will float away when it is filled with water later, so it is better to hold it in place with the string.
When you go down, you will see a larva in the upper right corner.
Go through the door and continue on. In the passage with the four circular shapes in the background, try not to touch the circular parts. If you touch them, thorns will come out from above and below and you will be killed.
Cross the liquid area and go to the left to find an isolated ant. Help him out.
The gear is submerged in the liquid on the right. You can do it any way you like, but a simple way is to first connect the gear to the ceiling with some thread and pull the gear up out of the liquid. Next, connect the gear to the scaffolding on the left side with thread. You can then climb up the thread and cut the thread connected to the ceiling with a shot.
Go left and you will see ants looking for water. Fix the water pump for them.
Go back to the upper right area where the protruding thorn trap was. When you return to the area on the right, go down. You’ll find the larva in a hidden room on the left.
Let’s go into the lower door.
There is a water pipe on the left that has fallen off, so pull it out with a string and attach it to the pipe in the center. If you hit the jump button while the string is attached and pulled, you can move almost as if you are floating in the air.
Similarly, there is a water pipe in the water below. There are various ways to do this, for example, you can first attach a thread to the pipe, and then bring the cursor over the top to attach the thread to the upper scaffold, so you can lift it straight up.
After pulling the pipe out of the water, climb up the string. With the string clinging to you, attach the string to the pipe and move up to pull it up. Now jump to the left to set up the pipe.
There is a hidden passage in the lower left corner of the water, and the larvae are in the back.
The pipes for the scaffolding above it will be installed in the same way as before.
Keep the switch pressed and return to the door above. Go back up further and enter the door. The room will fill with water. Go all the way up and go through the door.
When you get back on the lift, go to the left towards the fuel pump.
You’ll find a hidden room with a larva in the upper left corner.
There is a pipe at the bottom. Connect the ceiling and the pipe with a thread and climb up the thread. While holding on to the thread, shoot the thread into the pipe, hold on to it, and move up and pull it up.
If you go down to the bottom, you will find the larvae (SS is after the larvae have already been removed).
Go right, and just above you on the left is a hidden room with a larva.
There are two cogwheels on the right side when you go down, so carry them to the lift and put them on. Attach the string and pull it, and at the same time, keep hitting jump to move in a floating state.
Take the lift to the top.
Go to the right and fit the gear just to the right into the device at the end of it. Secure the switch with the thread.
The gear on the right side of the top will start to rotate, so bring the gear from the lift and fit it in. Connect the string to the wall to pull it up. It’s easier to jump from one string to another and hit jump repeatedly to carry the cog while moving through the air. The gears can be lifted up by first connecting them to the device above with the thread, then flying the thread to the ceiling further above the device and connecting the ceiling to the gears with the thread, or connecting the left and right walls to the ceiling with the thread so that the thread passes underneath the gears.
Return to the bottom and connect the bellows hose in the upper left corner. You can use a string to connect them, but it’s easier to connect them by hitting them with a series of shots.
Let’s go back to the plumbing station where Carl is. Connect the hose to the mech-ant below. You can pull the hose in by firing the string that pulls it in.
Proceed to the machine factory from the lower left.
There is a hidden room in the lower right corner. There is a larva.
Go to the upper left. There are traps, so keep your line taut and go slowly.
All the way to the left, there is a hidden room with a larva.
Attach the tubular parts to the moving lift with string and carry it upwards. When they are combined with the leg parts, which are blocked by blocks, the blocks come off and can be removed.
Connect the legs to the ceiling with string, pull them out of the holes, and push them to carry them to the arrow below.
Return to the area on the right.
Go to the lower left area. There is a cogwheel at the bottom, so after connecting it to the wall with the string, hold on to the string and pull the cogwheel upward to merge it into the device.
Larvae in the hidden room in the lower right.
Go to the left and press the switch on the ceiling to lower the bridge. There are leg parts on the left, so carry them to the lift on the right.
You can also move in the air by hitting the jump button while the string is attached. It’s not afraid of thorns.
Press the switch just above it to raise the lift, and carry the part to the arrow.
Go back to the upper area. Put the leg on the next lift to the right and press the switch to move it up.
The leg part is now on the right side of the lift, so combine it with the upper leg part. It’s easier to connect the ceiling to the left and right ceiling, as if you were threading a thread under the parts.
Connect the two parts to the gray lift just above the lift with thread and press the switch on the left to carry them up. Or it might be easier the next time to connect the ceiling and the parts with thread many times, lift them up, and carry them up on the lift.
Carry the parts from the lift to the arrow on the right.
Go back to the area on the upper right and you will see the legs from earlier. Use the lift to take the three legs, including the one there, up to the top.
Attach the legs to the Mecha-Ant.
Next, proceed to the ironworks area a little to the upper left. There is a hidden room in the lower left corner. There is a larva.
Proceed to the area above. Here you will have to help Mecha-Ant deal with his jaw.
Let’s fit the two gears into the device as before.
Then press the switch on the left side to bring the lift down, and connect the ant’s chin to the lift with a thread and carry it upward.
When the thread connects the gray lift on the right with the ants’ jaws, turn on the switch, go down and follow the passage to the right of the ants. The passage with the flames and liquid will let you cross the thread to the other side. Press the switch at the end of it, go to the right, and go around to the top to find a hot ant jaw.
Carry your chin to the right. Be careful not to touch it or you will be killed. It’s easier to carry it with a shot.
Once you have lowered it down, now carry it to the left on the left side lift and put it in a bat filled with water to cool it down. Once cooled, carry it to the arrow as before.
Proceed to the right area and attach the jaws to the Mecha-Ant.
Proceed to the lower right living area.
Go forward and find a hidden room in the upper left corner. There is a larva (SS is after getting it).
Go all the way down to the bottom and enter the door on the left to hand over the larvae.
The main character’s outfit (?) changes a little when you select the star symbol from the journal and switch the sticker.
Go back and proceed to the door a little further up.
Press the switch and go ahead to find the skating bird. A mini game of skating to show you how it’s done starts.
It’s very hard. This may be the most difficult mini-game in the game.
Collect the letters of the WEBBED alphabet while riding a skateboard (you can’t get them when you’re not riding a skateboard). Basically, hold on to the skateboard. If the skateboard falls off and flips over, you can get it back by running and jumping while pushing the skateboard (depending on the terrain, you may not be able to get it back).
When you’re on the skateboard, it’s very difficult because you have to move in a different and unique way. It will be a little easier if you start from the bottom D and work your way back up in reverse order. To do this, go to the bottom without taking anything, or even if you take the alphabet, just go to the bottom without losing your skateboard, and wait until your time is up. Then, start from D. It is always safer to move carefully, and to move the string as much as possible by releasing it vertically straight up, not diagonally.
Once you have all the letters of the alphabet, you can take the skateboard out of the air by switching the stickers.
If you go up vigorously in the vertical hole on the right side of this area, you will enter a hidden passage.
If you talk to him, you will get a new seal. It looks a little scary.
Go back to Mecha-Ant and talk to Carl.
Mecha-Ant has sailed away and the hero is now an honorary member of the engineering unit.
Switch the stickers and put on a nice helmet.
Let’s go back to the moth tree.
A lift has been built in the tree just to the left, so use it to get to the top.
Talk to Vlad on the right side of the airship. He will tell you what you need to do. You can also talk to the moths.
Let’s find the fuel!
Go to the area to the left from where the Lord of the Flies is.
There are flies flying around, so catch and eat them by stretching a string or hooking them directly onto the string. Eating the flies will displease the Lord of the Flies, but there is no downside and you need them for the seals, so eat them all in the future. Check the map to make sure you don’t have any leftovers.
At the end of the path, attach the string to the right end of the tree and tilt it to the lower right.
Connect the grass on the upper right to the left edge of the tree with a thread. There’s a hidden area above, so from the right side, where you can see the chain, use the thread that makes the nest to go down to the ground, then use the thread that pulls you up while holding on to it to go up with great force, then use the reaction to make a big jump. As soon as you reach the upper area, stick to the upper left wall with the string or you will fall. The difficulty is a little high. The trick is to release the button as soon as you get a little past the string on the side. If you release the button below the string, it will automatically grab the string on the side.
There are two flies in this area, so you should eat them. You won’t miss the flies in other areas if you play normally, but since this area is hidden, there is a good chance you will miss them if you play normally.
Go back down, this time to the left.
Climb up while making a foothold with the string.
It’s a pretty serious operation.
Go into the water under the big tree at the end of the path, connect the ground and the right side of the tree with a string repeatedly, or connect the upper right space with a thin branch of the tree, go into the upper right space, put the piece of wood there on the right side of the tree, and tilt it. Then proceed to the upper left.
Let’s keep going up and up.
Be careful not to fall to the left from where there is a sign that says “Beware of landslides” ! You will be dropped to the right side of the Mecha-Ant.
Use a shot to drop the pieces of wood that are stuck in the gears.
As we continued upward all the way to the top, we came across a dung beetle.
If they want shit, I’ll give it to them, but since they can’t fly because of their damaged wings, they ask me if I can help them build a foothold for them to climb over puddles. By the way, their names are Wendy and Michael.
Secure the tree and the ground on the left side stiffly with string.
There is a tree under the puddle further to the left, so use your shot to push it to the right.
Once you have secured it with thread as well, talk to Wendy.
You can get a sticker. Of course, it’s poop. Put it on your head.
Continue upward, but on the way, use the recoil to fly wide to the upper right and land on the right side, where you will find a switch that switches the hat into various hats every time you press it.
As you continue upward, you will come to an area with two lifts. To lower the lift in the upper right corner, first destroy the pieces of wood entangled in the vines below it.
Next, place a rock on top of the lift or attach the rock to the lift with string.
The lift on the left side starts to go up, so we take it to the top.
Go to the left and drop down to the lower left to find a spider. If you talk to it enough times, it will give you a sticker.
It will not be pretty to look at.
Return from below. Once you’re out of the thorny water, you can either jump normally by stringing a line horizontally from just above the top right to just above the top left, or use the tree branch sticking out from the right side to recoil and jump farther up. This will take you to an area further up, so attach the string to the non-muddy ground and go up even further.
There is an ant. He asks you to help him pull out the spiderbot.
Pull out the spider bots under the tree and rock in the lower right corner and carry them to the arrow. Move them to the left one by one as you do this. It’s easier to shoot the rocks from the right side after pulling them out a little.
Go back, this time to the upper left, all the way up, through the thorny water, and when you reach the hole, go inside.
Have a conversation with the dung beetle in the back of it. He will ask you to convince his son.
It will ask you to give it a little push, so give it a shot. Then it will start rolling.
When you get back to the moth tree, turn off the switch at the base of the tree and lower the lift to the bottom. After securing the poo and the lift with string, turn on the switch and carry it to the top. Use the string to connect the engine part to the moth balloon above, and push the fuel poo under it.
Talk to the moths.
Proceed to the area on the right.
Let’s get our guide a friend!
Go to the right and you will see a bee.
Collect the pollen from the pink orchids. There are three in this area.
Go to the area on the right. Continue upward while collecting the two pollens.
When you get to the top, go to the right side and you will find the pollen just above you on the right.
There is pollen further up on the immediate left.
A little higher up and to the right is the pollen.
When you reach the top, go to the place hidden by the leaves on the upper right.
At the end of it, there is a golden nest.
Go back to the left and break the dead tree with a shot and go up. There is a baby spider just above you.
On the right side, there is pollen.
Do not go up, go back down and return to the area on the left. Destroy the dead tree in the upper left corner with a shot and proceed to the area above.
In the area above, just to the left is a baby spider.
Pollen from there to the upper left.
Go to the upper right, and you will see a baby spider behind the leaves of a tree on the way.
And a baby spider just above it.
Pollen at the top of the climbing vine.
The pollen is to the left of it.
Continue to the area above.
There are two baby spiders just above you on the right.
To the right of it is a baby spider.
There is pollen in the upper left corner.
Go to the right and you will see a baby spider.
From there, go down and use the string to the right to find the baby spiders and pollen.
Back on top, just to the right, there are pollen and baby spiders.
Continue down and there is a pollen just above right.
There are bees under it.
There is a small spider just to the right.
There is a baby spider at the end of the thread that goes across the bottom.
And just to the right is the pollen.
There is a baby spider a little to the upper left.
There are baby spiders and pollen at the end of the path to the upper right. There is a bee below it.
Let’s go down to the bottom to retrieve it. Go to the area below.
There are baby spiders and pollen on the right.
There is pollen at the bottom down.
Go through the thorns to the right and then to the right. You can use a leaf to cross the first thorn, but you can also use a string to reach the other side. Hold the leaf and go right.
Slowly descend using the leaves so as not to hit the thorns.
There is a baby spider a little to the left.
Underneath, there is pollen.
A little further to the right, there is a baby spider on top.
And on top of that, there is pollen and baby spiders.
Go down and to the right. Pollen immediately to the upper right.
Go back and go to the upper left corner, and from there use the leaves to jump to the left.
Further back, to the area above.
Continue up to the top and break the dead tree on the upper right with a shot to proceed to the area above.
There is a pollen in the upper left corner.
Go left there and you will find a golden nest.
Go back to the area on the right, and just to the right from there is a baby spider.
Go to the right and you will see pollen and baby spiders.
To the right is a bee.
From there, the baby spider and pollen on the upper right.
Destroy the dead tree in the lower right corner with your shot and go right, and you’ll soon find a baby spider (missed the SS).
Pollen further down on the right.
Go to the area on the right. Grab the leaves by the string and ride the updraft up.
Just to the right is a baby spider.
Grab a leaf by the thread and go down so you don’t hit the thorns.
A little further to the right and up you will find pollen.
Go to the area on the right. There is a baby spider just below (SS is after I took it).
Go back up and follow the thorns on the immediate right to find pollen.
Go back and up, and you’ll see a baby spider on the right side of the path.
And on top of that, pollen.
Going down from there, there are two baby spiders.
Pollen further down.
Further down and to the left, there is a baby spider.
Pollen just above it.
Go all the way back to the top right and go to the area on the right.
There is a baby spider just above us.
On top of that, there is pollen.
Go a little to the right and down to the bottom to find the pollen.
There is a baby spider at the top right corner.
Go a little to the right and down to the bottom and you will find pollen.
Go to the right and talk to the bee.
Go to the area on the right and extend the string just above you to go up and find a baby spider.
Continue to the area above.
A little further up from there you will find pollen.
Go to the left and you will find pollen and baby spiders.
Further to the left, there is a pollen.
Going up from there, there is another pollen a little to the right.
Go left and you’ll find pollen and baby spiders in a cave-like area.
Go back to the right and return to the area below.
When you return, use the leaf in the lower right corner and use the updraft to go right.
Go to the top and go towards the glittering leaves to get to the upper area.
There is a gold nest at the end of it.
Back down and to the right is a baby spider.
Go to the area on the right.
If you go right up, you will see a baby spider.
There are pollen and baby spiders further up (SS is after the spiders have been removed).
From there, go to the left and you will find a golden nest.
If you find the four gold nests, you will get a sticker.
It will still look less cute.
Return to the area on the right and go to the upper right to find a baby spider.
Go down and a little to the right and you will find pollen.
Continue to the upper right.
Let’s pass the pollen.
By the way, if you have collected all the pollen, you will get a sticker.
Put on the crown (cute).
You will be carried away by her.
We will come back to the moth tree. Now that you have found all the baby spiders, you can get a sticker from the spider in the lower right corner.
You’ll get a little bigger.
In addition, if you have eaten all the flies, you will receive a seal from the Lord of the Flies.
You’ll look like a very creepy fly.
Talk to the queen bee and secure the lower platform to the balloon with a string.
Talk to the ants and take off in a balloon.
Love spider rescue mission begins!
When you arrive, turn right.
Carry the jewel to the root of the tree just to the right, and you will be able to proceed.
The next gem can be flown to the right with a shot, or grabbed by the string and carried to the right by hitting the jump repeatedly, then fitted into the root-like part of the tree as before.
Next, the scaffolding is attached, but the task is the same. Use the shot and the string to move it to the right.
The next one is easier than the previous one. Hold on to the string and hit jump to float to the right.
The next one, and the one after that, can be carried away with a series of jumps.
And to its right, the beloved love spider! Let’s enjoy their dance of joy for a moment (it’s cute!).
Go to the right. The love spider will enter the gimmick and allow you to move on. The love spider will follow you when you dance.
He won’t jump (he will mimic you when you jump, but only a little), so you’ll need to make a good foothold for him by stretching a string.
Suddenly a horror story. It’s scary.
Go to the right area and you will see a bird. Attacking the beak with a shot or plugging the hole with a piece of string won’t work, so proceed to the right from the lower passage.
Destroy the wood chips with a shot and seal the bird.
Next, secure the hose to the ceiling to block the bird’s movement.
Birds will come out of the hole periodically, so proceed to the right at the right time. It is safer to stretch a string first and then guide the bird.
For the third place, simply guide them with good timing.
In the fourth place, fit the gear into the device and climb the string to the right area. After that is the event.
Showdown! Bowerbird
Aim your shot at the head of the bird. If you fall, the queen bee will help you.
Stretch the string over and over again to carry the Mecha-Ant over the bird’s back.
After finishing the event, you will see the staff roll.
After the staff roll, you can get a sticker by talking to him, the love spider.
We’re matching! So cute.
And so the two lived happily ever after.
Congratulations! Happy, happy, happy.
